**Job description**:
We are looking for dynamic consultants to grow our** Engineering team** in **Montreal**. Your experience, knowledge, and commitment will help us to face our client's challenges.

You will be supporting different projects through your expertise as **Electric Vehicles Thermal Management Specialist**.

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Design and Development: Lead the design and development of busbar cooling junction boxes for electric vehicles, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company requirements
- Cooling System Optimization: Perform thermal analysis and simulations to optimize the cooling performance of the busbar junction boxes, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and temperature management
- Component Selection: Select appropriate cooling components, such as heat sinks, cooling fans, thermal interface materials, and other related equipment, considering factors such as cost, availability, and performance
- Prototype Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build prototypes of the busbar cooling junction boxes and conduct extensive testing and validation to verify their performance and reliability
- Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including specifications, design guidelines, test procedures, and reports, to support manufacturing, quality control, and customer support teams

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A master's degree or Ph.D. is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on power electronics, electric vehicle systems, or thermal management
- Proficiency in thermal analysis software (e.g., ANSYS Icepak, COMSOL Multiphysics) and CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, NX, AutoCAD) for design and simulation
- Strong knowledge of cooling techniques, heat transfer principles, and thermal management methods
- Familiarity with busbar design, high-power electrical systems, and automotive standards (e.g. ISO 26262)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English
