**Responsibilities**:
Prepares resource plans and schedules to support the delivery of effective maintenance practices, including the effective use of labour to minimizing equipment down time, validating parts inventory, and avoiding conflicting facility and labour requirements. Develops and supports the implementation of daily resourcing schedules. Reviews work requirements as established by Maintenance Planning Specialist to ensure compliance with approved maintenance schedule. Analyzes work orders and monitors work plan performance, reviews with the Maintenance Planning Specialist and makes adjustments to improve schedule performance. Schedules and tracks special maintenance or upgrading tasks into regular maintenance schedule.

**Qualifications**:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A diploma in a related maintenance or planning discipline, including courses in maintenance planning and scheduling.

Requires a minimum of four (4) years related experience in Maintenance.

Demonstrated skills and knowledge of maintenance planning processes and procedures, including exposure to and detailed knowledge of maintenance systems and life cycle costing.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Strong analytical skills when developing and recommending work plans.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Solid computer skills in standard office software tools including word processing and advanced spreadsheet software, statistical packages and use of web-based and data management systems.

**Other Information**:
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

**Work Schedule**:
40 hours per week.

This is a full-time temporary position until April 25,2025.

**Rate of Pay**:
Wage: $52.13 per hour

The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan upon eligibility.
