**Your daily mission**: Support Purchasing in keeping the Kicking Horse Coffee teams supplied with the goods and services they need to Roast, Package, & Promote Kick Ass Coffee

**What Will You Do?**

As a key member of the Purchasing team, you will assist the team members with ensuring our organization has everything they need, right when they need it You will take an ethical, transparent, and intentional procurement approach in all you do, aligning with our internal policies, procedures, and financial controls. Notice a little room for improvement? No problem You will work to evolve our departmental procedures, processes, and forms, and create more sophisticated ways of work. You will also lend your support to our administrative teams assisting them with Purchase Order (PO) generation, and inventory management. Dang Someone get Kicking Horse Coffee’s RFP (Request for Proposal) ready, because you may just fulfill all our needs and more

**Responsibilities**

**Procurement**
- Work collaboratively with the team to proactively determine our purchasing needs and ensure items are ordered, in stock, and on time, every time.
- Maintain inventory levels for all stationary, office supplies, cleaning supplies and consumables for the organization through our Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.
- Process purchase requisitions, release purchase orders, replenish stock, and process special orders, using an economical and ethical purchasing filter.

**Inventory Management**
- Support receiving of incoming goods by ensuring goods received match the PO. Report any discrepancies to the appropriate buyer, scan and attach all receiving documentation including Bill of Lading, Good Receipts, Packing Slips, and customs documentation to ERP PO’s.
- Complete inventory cycle counts.

**Administration**
- Reconcile the purchasing department monthly credit card statement.
- Maintain accurate master data within our ERP system including purchase orders, part master records, vendor master records, vendor pricing records etc.
- Support the Purchasing department Kaizen continuous improvement projects and tasks.
- Generate month end reporting KPI’s & Metrics, spend and PO reports, and ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Attend and engage in cross functional meetings led by purchasing, providing support with meeting minutes and action items as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience using MS Visio and efficiency with MS PowerPoint is an asset.
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs on occasion.
- Previous supply chain or buying experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset.
- Previous experience with SAP or other ERP platforms is an asset.
