ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The job duties performed by concrete workers include but are not limited to:

- Fabricating and erecting forms for civil concrete construction
- Placing and finishing concrete
- Setting forms for curb, sidewalk and flatworks
- Misc concrete works
- Skilled labour work

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Journeyman Certification or a minimum of 3 years experience
- Ability to read and interpret drawings an asset
- Valid drivers license
- Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain them in proper operating condition
- Experience working with curbing machines an asset
- Reliable, punctual and possess a strong work ethic
- Good interpersonal skills, team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Audio & visual acuity
- Ability to walk on uneven surfaces
- Lift and/or carry building supplies and tools
- Stoop / bend / kneel / crouch / balance / climb on an occasional basis
- Wear protective equipment such as hard hat, hearing protection, safety-toe boots, and safety glasses
