Our Canadian operation, Canaccord Genuity Corp., is currently looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Settlements team in Vancouver for a 6-month contract.

**Responsibilities**:

- Handling US (DTC) and foreign settlements;
- Liaising with Securities Lending team on potential borrows for failed trades;
- Updating department statistics;
- Reconciliation of internal exception accounts;
- Communicating with Investment Advisors and their assistants, Financial Institutions and Depositories.

Skills & Qualifications:

- 2+ years’ experience in Financial Operations an asset;
- Customer service and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines is essential;
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team;
- Hard-working, positive, dedicated and adaptable to change;
- Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word and Excel required;
- Familiarity with Dataphile, Arrow, CDS and DTC is an asset.
