Key Responsibilities:
**Client Engagement**:

- Develop an open and collaborative relationship between the agency and clients.
- Communicate effectively throughout the project life cycle, ensuring client satisfaction and managing expectations.
- Uncover customer needs and proactively recommend solutions to address short-term and long-term business challenges.

**Project Leadership**:

- Lead the planning and execution of e-commerce projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop and execute project plans, including scope definition, timeline development, resource allocation, and budget management.
- Provide ongoing support for client requests. This includes but is not limited to, leading regular calls with key stakeholders, responding to client communications in a timely and professional manner, and understanding client milestones and dependencies to help manage client expectations.
- Contribute innovative recommendations and proposals alongside the development team.
- Uncovering customer needs and proactively recommending solutions to solve short-term and long-term business problems

**Documentation and Improvement**:

- Develop and maintain project documents, including project plans, Gantt charts, budgets, and weekly status reports.
- Participate in internal projects, planning discussions, and process improvement initiatives.
- Conduct post-mortems to learn and improve from completed projects.

**Collaboration and Risk Management**:

- Work closely with and manage cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance personnel.
- Collaborate with the sales team and clients to create support plans for business growth and long-term relationships.
- Identify and manage risks and issues that may impact project delivery.

**Industry Knowledge**:

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Manage customer expectations effectively.

**Here’s What We’re Looking For**:

- 3+ years of experience managing web development projects, preferably with agency experience and a track record of handling 20-30 accounts/projects concurrently.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Experience planning and executing ecommerce projects in a leadership role
- Technical background and basic understanding of website frameworks and code
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, confluence).
- Familiarity with design and development processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and quality assurance
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong self-management practices with attention to detail

**Nice to Haves**:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., project management, business, computer science).
- PMP certification (or similar.)
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms and technologies like BigCommerce, including common integrations and custom development work
- Ability to coach and develop junior team members.
