S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? We are looking for a talented Mechanical Assembler for the Day Shift who has a passion for innovation and in their field of expertise, enjoys working as part of a team and are committed to helping us become a leader in our industry.

**Work Arrangement**:On-site
**Work Location**:90 Belfield Rd., Etobicoke, ON
**Shift**:Day Shift (Mon - Fri, 6:30am - 3pm)

**As a Mechanical Assembler, you will**:

- Assemble basic mechanical and electrical components, Cut, crimp, strip, and label wires according to schematics and assembly instructions. Mount electrical components while routing and securing cables neatly within assemblies.
- Inspect mechanical and electronic components and assemblies to ensure correct component selection, placement, and wiring, according to quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of tasks performed, deviations, and any quality concerns.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols while handling tools, equipment, and materials. Report any safety hazards promptly.
- Complete in-house training to learn how to read basic blueprints and Bills of Materials (BOLs).
- Meet department targets and consistently adhere to quality and safety standards.
- Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.
- **Who are we looking for? Someone who has**:

- 0-1 year of experience in assembly with a desire to learn electrical/mechanical assembly processes, follow assembly instructions, and use various hand/power tools to assemble products.
- Proficient in performing precise and delicate tasks using hands and fingers. Able to manipulate small objects, operate tools, and handle intricate equipment effectively.
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to determine accurate order quantities consistently.
- Ability to work independently and meet requirements of assigned materials requests.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to articulate information efficiently and effectively to team members in a variety of production support departments.
- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate measurements and weights.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to understand and complete requests given by team member inside and outside of the department.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools.
- Ability and willingness to follow Health, Safety & Environment procedures accurately, reporting concerns promptly to the safety action team.Capable of embracing diversity and equity to ensure they contribute to a respectful and inclusive workplace.
