**PROGRAM**:MoneyPath Atlantic

**POSITION**

The Regional Facilitator for MoneyPath Atlantic will deliver financial literacy programs for community organizations in Halifax and southwestern Nova Scotia who are interested in building the financial literacy skills of low income community members including youth, families, seniors, individuals living with disabilities and Newcomers.

**KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**:

- **PROGRAM DELIVERY**:

- Schedule, customize and facilitate financial literacy training workshops
- Schedule, and facilitate “Train the Trainer” programs
- Provide ongoing support to trained facilitators, co
- facilitating as needed
- Provide one-on-one and small group coaching support as needed
- Offer programming online, in person or in a blended format based on audience needs
- **CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT AND REVIEW**:

- Review and update financial literacy curriculum as required
- Research and scan for new and promising financial literacy resources
- Review and incorporate feedback from program evaluations to strengthen programming
- Provide resource and curriculum updates to financial literacy network members
- **PROGRAM EVALUATION AND REPORTING**:

- Organize, conduct and electronically file participant evaluations
- Brief the project manager regarding program and participant successes and difficulties
- Prepare required program reports

**ADMINISTRATION**
- Keep accurate attendance records, ensuring records are available for review as required
- Prepare, print and distribute certificates of completion for workshop participants
- Meet with project team and project stakeholders as required
- Support social media feeds as requested

**QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES**
- Degree or certificate in adult education, social work, business, human services or the Arts
- Excellent facilitation skills and knowledge of adult learning principles
- Experience working with individuals living on low incomes
- Experience in program coordination and curriculum development
- Experience in the banking industry an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Equipped to work remotely with adequate internet capabilities.
- Knowledge of online communication platforms, techniques and tools
- Understanding of program evaluation concepts
- Willingness to take initiative and lend assistance to help meet project goals.
- Available to work occasional evenings and weekends with flexibility in scheduling
- Available to travel
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
All staff wears a mask, the common areas are wiped down twice a day.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dartmouth, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
