Employment Connections North Corp., a WorkBC Employment Services Centre is currently hiring an _**Employment Administrator. **_The Employment Administrator works with a diverse range of clients to assist them with their individual job-related needs in order to obtain employment. This is accomplished through initial greeting and screening, supporting clients with registration and needs assessments, providing administration supports to other staff, and client interactions in a very busy office setting. Currently services are offered virtually and in person when required.

**Duties and responsibilities**

The Employment Administrator is responsible for working closely with a team to provide supports to staff and clients to ensure the Resource Centre is warm, inviting, and assists clients in their job search.

This position is responsible for a number of various tasks and duties with regards to the online job board and providing support to employers when needed.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in customer and client relations
- Post-Secondary Education or experience in the Social Services field.
- Office administration program completion is an asset.
- Proficient with technology in a Windows environment, MS Office, printers / scanners and utilizing web-based tools, minimum typing speed of 35 WPM
- Strong grammatical skills, pronunciation, vocabulary, and oral skills
- Specialized knowledge with the local labour market
- Ability to maintain client confidentially and adhere to client confidentiality policies.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, especially with diverse populations. A desire to assist others in finding the help they need
- Solid understanding of confidentiality and other professional codes of conduct; must submit for a criminal record check

**Working conditions**

Standard office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm.

The starting wage for this position is $23.00/hour dependent on experience.
