Medical Office Assistant

**Responsibilities**:
**May include but not limited to**:

- Scanning documents and prepping papers for the next work day for the nursing staff
- Daily pulls/uploads of patient data within the Manitoba Netcare portal and various EMR's.
- Customer care duties such as bookings, referrals, and follow-ups.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism, respect, confidentiality and engagement wheninteracting with patients
- Administrative duties such as electronically indexing/filing patient charts.
- Assisting with patient bookings via referrals and working with our Intake Coordinator team to ensure our schedule is being maintained.

**Requirements**:

- Respectful team player with above average communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to actively participate in, promote, and lead change.
- Current MOA certification or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of MOA experience in a clinic/hospital setting is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite.
- Experience with Netcare and the use of various EMR's is an asset but can be taught.
- Highly professional, engaged, and self-motivated team player focused on provision of an excellent level of customer service.
- Respectful team player with above average communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to actively participate in, promote, and lead change.
- Ability to seek out feedback on performance, set professional goals, and take constructive criticism as an opportunity to grow.

**We offer**:

- A salary of $17-24/hour(based on experience) with future pay raise opportunities based on experience and performance.

**Salary**: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
