The purpose of this role is to respond to the company’s emergency and non-emergency calls, maintaining and updating call logs, monitoring routes, transferring messages, directing field units, and working with the Logistics department.

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule, assign, and dispatch driver for delivery, pickup, or disposal.
- Validate material/equipment and order picklist availability.
- Ensure warehouse is organized to support receiving, storing, and shipments of product.
- Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and document important information.
- Maintain and update call logs, call records, and other important documentation.
- Prioritize and organize calls according to urgency.
- Respond to any customer issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments or field units.
- Operate and manage a telephone and answering machine system.
- Respond to queries related to products and deliveries.
- Use the phone and computer to direct crews and other field units to the appropriate sites.
- Supervise the route and status of field units to prioritize their daily schedule.
- Identify damaged, obsolete, or excess products/equipment/tools and arrange for disposal or sale.
- Lead and provide year end physical inventory count.
- Ensure material/equipment/tools have been processed and recorded prior to leaving warehouse.
- Assist in audits for equipment/tools.
- Ensure tasks conducted by drivers and yard men are completed with Health & Safety at the forefront of all activities.
- Process material purchase orders in system.
- Verify the delivery of materials entering the warehouse and matching the PO.
- Perform other duties as required.
- All other duties assigned.

Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification is required
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a dispatch role
- Disposal experience is an asset
- Ability to identify issues and participate in resolution of issues with standardization, cost reductions, and analyzing processes and procedures
- Ability to plan, direct, and coordinate daily routines in the organization and processes for product receiving, storing and shipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
