**Job Location: Aylmer, Ontario**:
The Town of Aylmer is a growing community with 12 beautifully manicured parks that have received provincial, national, and international awards, featuring amenities for families, sports enthusiasts, and nature lovers.

If you love working outdoors, here is an opportunity to join our Parks and Recreation Department to enhance the Town of Aylmer’s outdoor spaces and recreational facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reporting to the Manager of Parks and Recreation, this position provides ongoing maintenance of parks systems and amenities, pool operations, ball diamonds and sports fields.
- Safe, responsible operation of vehicles, small equipment, and hand tools is required.
- The position will run from April 29, 2024 to August 30, 2024 and generally consists of 40 hours per week, including weekends.

**Qualifications**:

- Applicants must be a minimum of 16 years of age;
- May be required to show proof of a clear, vulnerable sector Criminal Record check;
- Possession of a clean, valid driver’s licence and a satisfactory driver’s abstract;
- Experience operating various hand operated equipment, i.e., hand mower, weed eater, hedge trimmer, etc. an asset;
- Experience operating larger tractor mounted mower and riding mowers an asset;
- Working knowledge of parks maintenance practices an asset.

**Remuneration Range: $16.60 - $20.17 per hour**:
