**Position**: Base Manager

**Location**: Fort Simpson, NT

**Profile**: The Base Manager will be responsible for managing all functions at the base including but not limited to administration, flight operations and client relations functions.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Performing assignments with instructions but is required to exercise independent judgment in the field to maintain company standards.
- Developing a rapport with local community, including political leaders, business and government.
- Developing and maintaining business in a professional manner.
- Establishing and maintaining a base safety program and safety committee to ensure regulatory and company standards are met or exceeded.
- Crewing aircraft.
- Responsible for the safe operation of the aircraft, including a continuous monitoring of all essential limitations to ensure tasks can be completed without compromising safety or component values.
- Ensuring flight plans and maps appropriate to remote work areas are on board aircraft.
- Maintaining a relationship with partnership members in the region.
- Other related duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Knowledgeable of the area served by the base
- 1000 flight hours
- Mountain Course and experience
- Valid Canadian commercial helicopter license
- Valid DoT medical certificate
- Valid driver's license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
