Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to show case your skills as an adult educator? We are seeking a Learning Facilitator to coordinate and teach courses as set out by the Workplace Learning team at Karis Disability Services. The Learning Facilitator will work collaboratively with the Workplace Learning team as well as the District administration team in coordinating and delivering courses within the District (Peterborough, Cobourg, Durham Region).

**Currently hiring for a Temporary Full-time (40hrs/week) Learning Facilitator. Contract length is for approximately one year.**

The Learning Facilitator promotes and facilitates professional learning both within Karis Disability Services and with other stakeholders as delegated. The Learning Facilitator will work collaboratively with the Workplace Learning team as well as the District administration team in coordinating and delivering courses within the District.
The Learning Facilitator will respect and uphold the Values, Vision and Mission of Karis Disability Services, demonstrating the highest standards of courtesy and respect in their dealings with other employees, persons supported and both internal and external stakeholders.

**Skills Required**:
Collaboration, Advocating for Others, Developing Others, Fostering Independence in Others, Self-Development, Working knowledge of MS Power Point, Excel and Word, Familiarity with audio visual presentation equipment Knowledge of database systems.

**Experience/Education Requirements**

1-2 years’ experience (Developmental services, Teaching, course facilitation preferred)

College Diploma

Education and Teaching certificates are considered an asset

Previous course facilitation is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $24.20-$28.31 per hour

Schedule:
