**Role Responsibilities**:
The Child Care Transformation team is looking for policy analysts to support the transformation to $10 per day parent fees for child care by 2026. These are exciting roles that support the overall transformation of the child care sector from one primarily funded by parents to one primarily funded by government.

The policy analysts will be involved in activities related to governance, stakeholder management, engagement, project management, and change management.

**To be successful in the role you will be asked to**:

- Work with partners within the department to develop solutions to mitigate or address risks associated with child care transformation.
- Support an integrated approach to strategy, policy, programs and delivery across the teams working on components of child care transformation.
- Conduct research and develop evidence-based policy options and analysis, including jurisdictional scans, to support decision making.
- Draft a variety of reports, documents, presentations, communication materials and briefing notes based on a variety of topics.

**Key responsibilities to achieve child care transformation include, but not limited to**:

- Provide secretariat support to Director, Executive Director and ADM committees including logistics, materials, meeting agendas, action items, issue logs, meeting summaries and records for internal and external committees.
- Support the department and Branch to plan, develop and deliver stakeholder engagement activities, including drafting briefing notes, stakeholder management plans, materials, and communications.
- Support the collation, analysis and summarization of information gathered during engagements.
- Support the development and coordination of the change management activities, including those that are inward facing to the department or outward facing to support child care operators and parents.
- Support project coordination, workflow processes to assist and support the branch, program areas and child care divisions to address, monitor, analyze, collate and escalate project needs and issues as required.
