**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
- Lead the day-to-day administration of our employee benefits programs, including group health and dental insurance, life insurance, disability coverage, EFAP, retirement plans, and other offerings
- Respond and address any employee benefit inquiries and concerns
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues between employees, Benefits, Management, Payroll, LOA inbox and outside vendors as needed to resolve issues. Can handle escalated issues between all parties and investigate discrepancies
- Responsible for efficiently processing invoices related to employee benefits
- Support plan enhancement and design changes
- Manage the benefit enrollment process, including helping employees understand their benefits plan options and coverages
- Maintain regular contact with employees and insurance provider throughout the disability management process to facilitate smooth and timely return to work
- Continuously review the process for leave management and partner with key collaborators to implement changes
- Coordinate and facilitate quarterly meetings for disability management with key partners to assess STD/LTD claims, analyze key trends, and collaboratively share insights and recommendations for process improvement
- Maintain and update the leave of absence toolkits for employees and leaders
- Ensure our benefits programs align with company policies, legal regulations, and compliance requirements
- Ensure employee benefits records and enrollment data maintained by our third-party administrator are accurate
- Coordinate with third party administrator and the payroll team to verify accurate payroll deductions
- Educate, mentor and guide internal business partners and employees on our benefit offerings
- Support in delivery and implementation of benefits and wellness initiatives/changes
- Develop creative communication tools and find opportunities to amplify existing benefit offerings
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for benefit processes
- Evaluate efficiency and value of current benefit program and make recommendations for improvement. Optimize and improve current benefit processes

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:
- A relevant degree/diploma in Human Resources Management or Business Administration; certified Compensation and/or Benefits Professional (CCP/CBP), considered an asset
- 4-5 years of relevant work experience; with a minimum of 3 years’ experience with administering Group Benefits, Retirement Plans and handling LOA processes
- Inspired to change the employee narrative and redefine industry standards
- Are a keen collaborator with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to champion internal initiatives across the organization
- Excitement to building programs from the ground up with creative thinking/innovation and bringing it to life
- Ability to manage ambiguous situations and pivot as needed
- Are thorough and analytical, with the ability to build business cases, draw meaningful findings from large data and develop actions with impactful results by utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
