**Job title: HR Administrative Assistant**

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks which include providing support to the management team and employees, assisting in daily office needs.

**Job Description and Qualifications**
- Contact clients
- Proficiency on Word and Excel, learn database
- Perform general clerical support duties
- Aid in the maintenance of program supplies as required
- Work independently
- Oral and written fluency in English & French
- Maintain an attitude of excellent customer service, a positive attitude and a helpful disposition while working with clients
- Operate computers, printers, fax, laminator, binder, photocopier as needed
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work effectively in a team
- Current Criminal Reference Check
- be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment.
- be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and,
- be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.

**This position is based on receiving funding from Canada Summer Jobs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 weeks

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Alexandria, ON K0C 1A0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Human resources: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
