**The Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled AI and Data Management student/ summer intern to join our growing Enterprise Data Management Team (EDMT) within KPMG's ITS National Group. The Intern will be responsible for assisting the EDM team as part of the Data Governance practice, and supporting the communication with the internal data community, developing the governance model around AI and ML, and providing assistance on projects.

What you will do:

- Work collaboratively with the Data Management team to ensure the data is managed and governed effectively
- Support the communication of the EDMT team by maintaining and developing the Internal website, ensuring it is up-to-date and meets the needs of our stakeholders
- Conduct research and assist in developing the governance model around AI, ML (including ChatGPT) and Code development, including the development of policies, procedures, and standards.
- Assist the team on Data Management projects such as Data Compliance, Data Cataloguing and Data Classification or Access Control.

What you bring to this role:

- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with Math’s, Information technology, or a related field. Also open to new graduates with relevant post-secondary education.
- Experience with website development and maintenance i.e. SharePoint environment
- Python, Machine Learning, ChatGPT
- Knowledgeable in MS Office
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Very good communication and documentation skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Experience in development and new technology (AI, ML) or cloud platforms (MS Azure)
- SharePoint Website development and maintenance preferred
- Technology watch (Open AI - ChatGPT) preferred
- Good understanding of data management principles and practices preferred
- Data Quality Management - Master Data Management - Data Governance platforms preferred
