We’re looking for an Analyst - Commercial Lending. This position is for an individual who is driven, goal-focused, and eager to learn, with aspirations for long-term advancement and financial success, and aims to establish a prominent reputation in the commercial lending sector.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Detailed Due Diligence and Analysis of Financing Opportunities, including**:_
- Review of third-party reports (including but not limited to appraisals, environmental site assessments, and market studies) to ensure clarity/accuracy
- Review and summary of property and business financial performance documents including rent rolls, financial statements, etc.
- Creating sets of forward-looking financial projections using Microsoft Excel
- Assist in the underwriting of new opportunities
- Assist in the preparation of comprehensive narrative and analytical lender presentations for lending requests
- **Fulfillment Support**_
- Communication with internal and external stakeholders to procure items and/or information needed to meet funding deadlines
- Tracking of outstanding information with persistent follow-up with appropriate parties to provide deliverables to lenders and related parties

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- 2-5 years of commercial lending experience
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis
- Knowledge of mortgage underwriting for office, retail, industrial, Multi-Family, CMHC-insured, and other forms of commercial real estate
- An In-depth market knowledge of commercial real estate, as it relates to office, retail, industrial, and multi-unit residential market trends, transactions, pricing, and cap rates.

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong organizational skills to manage and effectively prioritize multiple tasks
- A demonstrated ability to learn and problem-solve quickly, effectively, and creatively
- Strong research skills and financial/mathematical analysis capabilities

**Salary**: $34,754.54-$97,890.92 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Burlington, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Commercial Underwriting: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Mortgage Agent/Broker Licence (required)
