**Corporate Controller**

**Kirkland, Quebec**

**SUMMARY**:
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage, support, mentor and develop global finance team.
- Oversee the full accounting process: General ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Inventory costing, Payroll.
- Prepare consolidated monthly and annual financial reports for 6 legal entities.
- Prepare cash flow forecasting and management for all entities.
- Lead annual budget and forecasting for all entities.
- Gain a thorough understanding of tax and other statutory reporting requirements and assist in ensuring proper compliance.
- Set up and review of internal controls for the businesses to maintain the integrity of day-to-day accounting.
- Manage 2 direct reports with day-to-day responsibilities for AP, AR, Invoicing & Cost Accounting.
- Manage and enforce policies and procedures to ensure effective internal financial controls.
- Prepare for external audits/reviews.
- Achieve departmental targets to drive continuous improvements.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 5+ years’ experience in a senior accounting role in a multi-location manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing a team is a requirement.
- CPA designation
- Advanced level in Excel.
- Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
- Able to meet deadlines.
- Strong team-player and self-starter.
- **French language (written and spoken)**:

- **English (written and spoken) as it is required to communicate with global teams**
