**Job Summary**
Costing Coordinator is a primarily administrative role, with several specific administrative responsibilities. Primarily, intake and administration of cost increases, WhiteCap Canada receives over 400 increases annually, these need to be received, processed and added to the tracking sheet and maintained. This job will provide support for cost analysts by maintaining cost tracker and intake, as well as branch support for non-stock inventory and balance maintenance.
**Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities**
- Process incoming vendor increase notifications and price lists into Smartsheet and set-up pertinent documentation into the vendor increase Sharepoint folder.
- Monitor the timelines of these increases over time and follow-up with Cost analysts, Category managers or buyers on delays in process. Also, update the tracking sheet as required.
- Maintain and improve the dashboard reporting for Vendor increases to the field and managers.
- Non-stock maintenance, run ICEAN for every branch is WCC and provide the broken link report to each branch in the network once every 2-3 months. Work with the branch managers after sending the report 48-72 hours after sending and get approval / resolution for the issues.
- Enter the inventory balance adjustment (write-off) per approval from branches and communicate those changes as necessary to accounting.
- Cost reporting and communications to Category managers as necessary.

**Nature and Scope**
- Refers complex, unusual problems to supervisor.
- Under general supervision, exercises some judgment in accordance with well-defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor.
- None.

**Work Environment**
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
- Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

**Education and Experience**
- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Some basic accounting experience.
- Certification in Smartsheet; Ms Office; SxE is preferred.
