**Minimum Qualifications**: Must currently be enrolled in a recognized and accredited Canadian post-secondary institution throughout the duration of the co-op term. You must also be returning to a post-secondary institution after the co-op term is completed. Depending on the needs and location of the team, you will need to work PST or MDT or relocate to a specific office (Vancouver or site-based)

The Data Analyst Co-op will be responsible for extracting, consolidating, and analyzing data to drive informed business decisions. **Responsibilities**:

- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Data Management and Consolidation: Extract specific data from databases, consolidate disparate data tables, and ensure data quality to streamline data handling and improve the accuracy of analyses and insights
- Research and Data Availability Analysis: Conduct research on data availability and assess the feasibility of integrating new data sources into our platform
- Advanced Data Analysis and Comparison: Perform comprehensive data analysis, including comparison of different data sets, to identify patterns, generate insights, etc.
- Exploration and Improvement of Tools: Investigate features and functionalities of our SaaS, and Azure databases to optimize data analysis processes and improve the capabilities of our apps.
- Contribution to Future Strategies and Innovations: Collaborate with the team on brainstorming and conceptualization for future improvements based on data-driven insights, industry trends, and knowledge of emerging data analysis tools and techniques.

**Qualifications**:

- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Able to work effectively independently as well as part of the team
- Proven ability to learn innovative technologies and platforms quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Able to articulate complex concepts clearly and in a way a diverse audience would understand
- Previous experience using PowerApps and PowerBI is an asset
- Previous experience with data analytics tools such as Databricks, Spark and Grafana is an asset
- Previous experience using programming language such as SQL and Python
