**Duties**:
Delivers interpretive and educational presentations, programs, and activities to provide visitors with opportunities to discover, appreciate and learn about the significance of the natural and cultural heritage of Thousand Islands National Park.

In this role, you will:

- Present meaningful, captivating, and enjoyable interpretation/education programs and activities to deliver park messages.
- Greet and orient visitors; deliver reception, public safety, and interpretive messages.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to improve programs and services.
- Demonstrate interpretation techniques and practices and provide mentorship to new staff and volunteers.
- Ensure that rules, procedures, and regulations of the National Park are followed.

**Work environment**:
Located in the Thousand Islands region, Thousand Islands National Park sits in the corridor between Toronto, Montreal and Ottawa. The park offers boating, camping, hiking and day-use experiences on the mainland and at island locations. We have a passionate team that puts visitor enjoyment first each day. We are looking for individuals with a passion for the natural world and who want to share their knowledge with visitors and help build meaningful connections to this special place.

- Willing and able to work from various locations.
- Possession of a valid First Aid and CPR (level C and AED).
