The ideal **Foreman, Vehicle & Power** is a leader who seeks to foster a positive and collaborative team, performs preventive maintenance, and makes repairs on rental and operational equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to maximize equipment uptime.

**Responsibilities**
- **Leadership & Administration**_
- Foster a positive, collaborative, creative attitude across the team to ensure the operation provides superlative customer service
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the team and ensure they have the information, tools and resources needed to efficiently and effectively perform their jobs
- Coordinate and oversee production assignments; Workday approvals, authorization of overtime; coordination of vacations and other leaves; and support of other operations
- Lead weekly operations meetings, including key personnel from each department as needed
- Evaluate equipment, repair tickets and maintenance logs for overall quality and completeness
- Assist in the Hiring, Training, Development, and Performance Review of all personnel
- Ensure all team members adhere to all facility, company, and government safety policies
- Work with other WFW & SBR operations to ensure relevant information is regularly communicated
- Advise leadership of any issues likely to affect customer service
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency & effectiveness of the operation, and reduce costs whenever and wherever possible
- Maintain professional knowledge by attending recommended courses, workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing networks, etc.
- **Preventive Maintenance and Repairs**_
- Preventive Maintenance
- Perform medium frequency preventive maintenance on power and vehicle rental equipment, including filters, belts, and other consumable mechanical items
- Complete service record documentation for all maintenance
- Repairs
- Assist other members of the maintenance team with electrical and/or diesel engine repairs or maintenance of rental equipment
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical problems on all equipment
- Create warranty claims for equipment as needed
- Complete service record documentation for all maintenance
- **General**_
- Provide on-site technical assistance to customers when needed
- Commission new equipment to prepare it to be ready to rent
- Manage parts and supplies to ensure adequate availability for the needs of the team
- Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate periodic regulatory inspections, insurance renewals, etc.
- Ensure Insurance, Certifications and regulatory filing paperwork is current and up to date for all vehicle and power rental assets
- Adhere to all WFW and Sunbelt safety standards as prescribed and work within any governmental or regulatory requirements
- Dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with company policy
- Maintain brand commitments of equipment quality and performance
- **Daily Operations**_
- Check-Out and Check-In rental equipment
- Move, stage, load and unload rental equipment using operational equipment (forklift, yard tractor, etc.)
- Complete visual check of equipment upon return
- Complete check-out and check-in paperwork with the customer
- Perform check-ins and safety inspections on vehicle and power rental assets
- Configure various types of equipment to the correct settings as needed
- Process all returned power and vehicle assets as required, including:

- Refuel and recharge rental equipment
- Clean and wash returned equipment and prepare for repairs as needed
- Complete “Rental Ready” operational checklist, including checking of general operational parameters and conducting of load testing for diesel generators and battery systems
- Coordinate the booking of vehicle and power equipment
- Assist the CSR team in scheduling and booking vehicle and power assets
- 4 years of related maintenance experience in a similar role within the Rental or similar industry strongly preferred
- Certified Red Seal Mechanic a strong asset
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage, coach, empower and delegate
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate computer and data literacy skills
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Inventory Software
- Class 5 Driver’s License required, Class 1 Driver’s License a strong asset
- Advanced knowledge of vehicles, engines, and vehicular electrical systems
