**About the team**:
**What you’ll do**:
**Position Title**: SAP iXp Intern - Communications Specialist

**Location**: Vancouver, British Columbia

**Expected start date to end date**: April 2023- December 2023, with possibility of extension

**In this role, you’ll**:

- Create captivating promotional materials, such as digital banners, social media posts, videos, and more, to promote various employee engagement events
- Come up with creative ideas for holding virtual events that are informative and engaging
- Ensure that all internal communications are delivered in accordance with the company branding and voice
- Curate content, manage, deliver, and track our monthly newsletters sent to all employees in the organization
- Educate other communicators on the basics of blogging, e-newsletter creation, SAP Work Zone (SAP’s intranet), video production, basics of design, PowerPoint presentations, and more
- Measure and analyze communication success metrics to improve communications performance
- Manage content for Product Support’s internal collaboration portal & Intranet, SAP Work Zone

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- **Educational requirements**
- This role is best for someone in their second internship / Co-op, or beyond
- Experience in the tech industry is an asset
- ** Willing to commit for 8 months full time internship starting April 2023**

Desired skills/experience to be successful in this role**
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills to engage employees across different regions, countries, line of businesses, and cultures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneDrive. Experience with SharePoint not necessary but would be an asset.
- Eye for design: Basic understanding and creative eye for graphic design, turning ideas and concepts into visually effective collateral. Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Premiere Pro not necessary but would be an asset.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with people of different skill sets and across multiple time-zones
- Organized, detail-oriented, and can manage time effectively with top-notch prioritization skills
- Openness to learn: Not only receptive to feedback and suggestions, but also willing to ask for feedback
- Manage and track project timelines
