**About the BCSGA**:
Farm Support Coordinator

**Location**: Comox Valley

**Type of Position**:Full Time Term Position from 1-June-2024 to 31-March-2026 with 40 hours of work a week, statutory holidays and 3 weeks of vacation per year.

**Minimum Experience and Education**: Education minimum of an undergraduate degree or similar level of experience.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Acrobat for data management and document preparation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop templates, training materials, in-person training, and video guidance to streamline the licensing processes to support farmers.
- Act as a liaison between shellfish farmers and regulatory agencies, advocating for clients' interests while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. Demonstrate assertiveness and professionalism when dealing with difficult clients or challenging situations.
