Advertising Sales Executive

We are an innovative and leading digital publisher expanding across Ontario and are looking for experienced sales professionals who know how to grow their book of business and add value to our aggressive expansion plans.
AS AN ACCOMPLISHED NEW BUSINESS/ADVERTISING SALES EXECUTIVE YOU WILL:
- Identify, develop and grow new business opportunities and generate leads in the hyper-local markets we operate in
- Meet potential clients both in-person and virtually to understand advertising and marketing objectives
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to develop effective advertising strategies
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to maximize revenue
- Exceed monthly sales targets
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and execute advertising campaigns
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their advertising needs
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the advertising process
- Monitor campaign performance and make adjustments as needed to ensure client satisfaction
- Utilize Salesforce or similar CRM software to consistently track client interactions and manage accounts
- Represent the brand and expand company reach
- Collaborate internally to develop innovative, new markets, verticals, and sales strategies
- Take initiative to innovate, understand, and grow your book of business
- Serve as a point of contact and the link of communication between clients and internal teams
- Provide exceptional service and promptly resolve any issues or problems that may arise to ensure high level of client satisfaction
OUR REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
- At least 3 years of outside sales and account management experience in digital advertising/advertising
- Digital publishing advertising sales experience is an asset
- Must have experience in selling wide array of digital advertising opportunities such as, but not limited to: display ads, content, social media advertising, Google ads, SEO.
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
- Proficient in using a CRM system
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
- Proficient in social media platforms: Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Linkedin
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and competitor activity
- Excellent customer service and negotiation skills
- Driven to build your book of new business, provide solutions, and develop long lasting relationships
- A personable, communicator with excellent interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships
- Organized with exceptional time management skills
- An independent, creative self-starter and team player who is good at solving problems and offering solutions that are a fit
- Constantly representing the corporate brand
