We are searching for a full-time or part-time, hardworking and reliable housekeeper to join our Housekeeping team. At Quality Inn & Suites our reputation depends on our ability to offer a clean and comfortable stay for our guests. We value our guests’ feedback and want to ensure a quality experience; therefore, we are looking to hire a housekeeper with integrity and attention to detail.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing.
- Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths.
- Strip and make beds, changing bed linens.
- Dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly.
- Push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash.
- Replenish amenities, supplies, and linens in guest rooms.
- Clean rooms, storage areas and corridors as allocated achieving standards of cleanliness and presentation as per company policy.
- Clean and maintain all public spaces within the hotel including spa room and restrooms.
- Coordinate linen delivery to Room Attendant areas on each guest floor.
- Restock housekeeping carts for next day.
- Report all maintenance faults/notify supervisor of any damages, deficits, and disturbances.
- Follow lost and found procedures.
- Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturer’s instructions.
- Other duties as assigned such as cleaning unexpected spills and executing special guest requests.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
- Requires good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 4 hours in length.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 140 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
- Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.

Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24-32 per week

**Salary**: From $16.50 per hour
