**The Opportunity**:
The Smurfit Westrock Mississauga facility is looking for a** Flexo Helper** to work with the Press/Printing team on the afternoon shift. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the printing press.

**How you will impact WestRock**:

- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and comply with all safety policies.
- Obtain and understand production docket according to print schedule.
- Ensure all appropriate supplies are at the press - ink, plates, stock, etc.
- Assist Pressman in the mounting of plates, sleeves, anilox rolls, die if applicable.
- Comply with all SOP’s and Quality Procedures.
- Cleaning of ink chambers.
- Changing anilox blades.
- Topping up ink chambers with fresh ink.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**What you need to succeed**:

- Minimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing or production industry
- Experience working with Radius and Microsoft Office (ie. Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) considered an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift on a concrete floor and ability to lift 40 pounds.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to maintain good attendance.

**Shift Schedule**:

- Monday to Thursday: 3:00 PM to 10:30 PM
- Friday: 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods.
