The Aboriginal Coalition to End Homelessness Society (ACEH) is seeking a Culturally Aligned Integrated Support (CAIS) Manager to develop, implement, and evaluate an Indigenous-led and designed CAIS 3-year Pilot Program for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. This program is part of the provincial Integrated Support Framework and the newly announced Supported Rent Supplement Program (SRSP).
**JOB DETAILS**:
**Start Date**:As soon as possible.
**Position Type**:Full time, 40 hours per week
**Salary Range**:Based on project management, supervision, program development and evaluation experience, between $70,720 - $74,880 annually with room for growth.
**Location**:736 Broughton Street, Victoria, BC; and other ACEH sites as required

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Recruit, hire, train, orient new team members, and liaise with ACEHS department staff. The CAIS team over time will ideally be comprised of administrative and front-line support.
- Establish a working group of local cross-sector service provider organizations to provide input for the distribution of rent supplements; Develop criteria and selection process for rental supplement distribution.
- Develop a model for wrap-around services; Commence with service mapping sessions, research, and analyses of a spectrum of supports, including but not limited to health, culture, addictions, social/recreational, etc.; Utilize the ACEHS approach to assessment which includes physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual wellness; Provide opportunities for participant feedback throughout developmental phase.
- Train and Manage the CAIS Team.
- Lead case management, development of Care Plans, personal goals, and regular follow up.
- Engage in comprehensive data gathering, tracking, analyses, and project delivery modifications, with quarterly performance reviews of the program.
- Administer the project budget; Provide quarterly budget forecasts, ensure receipting and cheque requests are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Write funder reports as required; Develop proposals for on-going program expansion.
- Develop transition plans for participants, throughout the housing continuum, including transitions from hospitals, ministry care and corrections.
- Support individuals in jeopardy of losing housing (case plans); Support those who transition into housing (low barrier, supportive, culturally supportive, transitional, subsidized and market/ independent living).
- Act as a referral resource for other local resource agencies as required.
- Ongoing follow-up and sharing of strategies to navigate systems and combat isolation.
- Weave in medium and long-term plans to support education and training.
- Arrange for culturally responsive supports to prevent and reduce recidivism and relapse; Actively engage and support individuals to participate in land-based healing and pathways to healing and recovery, pre-treatment and treatment when wanted and required.
- Schedule and conduct regular transitional planning, individual support, talking circles, while also providing guidance and support for various land-based projects and events.
- Interface with Indigenous Street Family to establish grassroots service priorities, referring to the ACEHS Stigma research and Indigenous Systems Improvement Map research findings; Liaise with ACEHS House Managers regarding referrals, transitions, and follow-up.
- Represent the ACEHS at various Community Committees as directed
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Degree in social work, healthcare, business administration, organizational design, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and project management/coordination.
- Minimum five (5years management experience in health or social related fields; Management and supervision of a team of 5 or more is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working within the Housing Sector and aware of available community wrap around supports.
- Knowledge of the BC healthcare system and experience working in a primary healthcare setting or experience working with physicians and/or allied health care providers preferred.
- Experience in community development will be considered an asset.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to work respectfully, knowledgeably, and effectively with partners and First Nations, Inuit, and Métis people, adapting to cultural uniqueness to create a sense of safety for all; Demonstrated experience in systems improvement and change management; Knowledge of health-related issues affecting Indigenous peoples; Ability to work collaboratively with a broad range of medical, clinical, and administrative professionals and understanding of local, regional, and provincial Primary Care, and housing sector professionals; Knowledge of Tenancy Agre
