Empire Protection Inc. is currently seeking Event Security Specialists to add to our growing team in Toronto, ON.

- **AVERAGE START TIME IS 5/6PM-12AM MONDAY TO THURSDAY AND 5/6/7/8PM TO 1-3AM FRIDAY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY. AVERAGE SHIFT LENGTH IS 5-8 HOURS.**
- Minimum 3+ years experience working in a demanding and high-pressure environment, preferably in event security;
- Professional physical appearance and presentation;
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills;
- Detailed observation and enhanced report writing skills;
- Thrives in a team environment;
- High School Diploma required. Post-secondary education is considered an asset;
- Open availability; all days of the week consisting of afternoons, evenings, weekend shifts, and holidays;
- De-escalation and conflict resolution skills;
- Must own a black suit and plain white dress shirt or is able to buy one

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greeting and opening doors for customers as they enter the establishment;
- Work in a public setting and enforce property rules and regulations in accordance with the policies set out by the site;
- Prepared to work outside in order to process patrons entering the venue;
- Experience with ID checks, physical searches/wanding, bag checks and crowd control;
- Excellent note-taking skills whereby the guard will document all incidents and occurrences in detailed forms and reports;
- Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time;
- Maintain a safe working environment and follow the facilities health and safety procedures;
- Proficient customer service and de-escalation experience;
- Other duties as assigned; and
- **THE IDEAL CANDIDATE MUST BE REQUIRED TO PASS A WRITTEN, PHYSICAL AND VERBAL TEST AS A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT.**
