**Summary**
We are looking for a responsible and effective Quality Inspector certified to CSA 178.2 Level 1 or 2 to inspect the quality of all incoming and outgoing material and products.

The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning equipment. That way our customers will enjoy high-quality merchandise so that we can achieve long-term success.

As briefly mentioned above, Cherubini Bridges and Structures caters to the following industries; Bridge manufacturing, Structural steel, Fixed off shore structures, Plate fabrication, Marine fabrication, Complex steel fabrications, and Miscellaneous metals.

**Job Duties**
- Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product and supplies.
- Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.
- Approve or reject materials with respect to quality standards.
- Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.).
- Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective per day etc.
- Monitor the use of equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained and discard any that doesn’t meet requirements.
- Organize and report test results.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as quality control inspector or relevant role.
- Level 1 CWB Inspector plus 2+ years of experience OR Level 2 CWB Inspector, OR CSWIP certification
- A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
- Working knowledge of MS Office

**Work Conditions**
- Working in a shop based/manufacturing environment (dust, noise, fluctuating temperatures)
- Working from heights and confined spaces.
- Meeting deadlines and decision making
- Handle work pressure
- Able to deal with various department coordination

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
