**Job Summary**:
Duties and Responsibilities: (including but not limited to):

- Mechanical inspection of catalogue and machined parts for conformance to specifications and completion of associated paper work;
- Use of standard Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing;
- Ensure proper part certificates are received and traceability of parts is maintained (as required);
- Preparation of part Non-Conformance Reports;
- Vendor liaison, when required;
- In-process inspection of company products;
- Identify tools and equipment required for mechanical inspection;
- Develop inspection techniques and design inspection jigs and gauges;
- Use and programming of CMM and use of other advanced tools and equipment;
- Calibration and material identification;
- Check and approve product Test Reports;
- Inspection scheduling.
- Adherence to our ISO quality system and safety program;
- Fosters an environment that promotes our Company values;
- Encourages continuous improvement through participation.

- This position requires the use of initiative and independent judgment;
- High attention to detail, precision, and accuracy with ability to multitask;
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and comprehension;
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent time management and organizational skills;
- Ability to work independently and within a team with mínimal supervision, maintaining focus on work quality;
- Self-motivated and highly proactive work style with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
- High standard of ethical work practices while maintaining confidentiality of business information
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
- Computer skills in MS Office
- Willingness and ability to learn.

**Qualifications**

- Must be authorized to legally work in Canada without company sponsorship.
- Diploma in Mechanical Technology or equivalent mechanical basics with 2+ years of relevant experience.
