**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an accomplished Assistant Vice President to join our Internal Audit team as part of our financial services business in Montreal.

As part of our Montreal team you will:

- assisting with the internal audits for the Maples Group Caribbean, North America, Europe, Asia and Middle East offices
- review and development of control matrices in line with identified key risk areas
- monitoring of open audit observations, as well as project work in relation to policies and procedures, new systems and operational risk more generally
- deliver high levels of client service, while ensuring that each relationship is compliant with internal policies and procedures

**What You Bring**
- a professional graduate accountancy qualification with a minimum of 1-2 years internal audit experience gained in the financial services industry
- an understanding of investment funds and structured finance
- strong written and verbal communication skills
- an eye for detail and have excellent time management and organization skills

Nous recherchons un(e) vice-président(e) adjoint(e) accompli(e) pour se joindre à notre équipe d’audit interne dans le cadre de notre activité de services financiers à Montréal.

En tant que membre de notre équipe de Montréal, vous devrez:

- contribuer aux audits internes des bureaux de Maples Group dans les Caraïbes, en Amérique du Nord, en Europe, en Asie et au Moyen-Orient;
- réviser et créer des matrices de contrôle en fonction des principaux domaines de risque déterminés;
- effectuer un suivi des observations d’audit à l’étude, ainsi que des travaux de projet relatifs aux politiques et procédures, aux nouveaux systèmes et au risque opérationnel en général;
- fournir un niveau élevé de service à la clientèle de haut niveau, tout en veillant à ce que chaque relation soit conforme aux politiques et procédures internes.

**Votre contribution**
- un diplôme et une qualification professionnelle en comptabilité avec un minimum de 1 à 2 ans d'expérience en audit interne acquise dans le secteur des services financiers;
- une compréhension des fonds d'investissement et des financements structurés;
