Brand Coordinator, Beauty Division (Contract Position - 12 months)
The Brand Coordinator position reports to the Brand Manager and will assist on multiple tasks related to assigned brands. Duties include a combination of administrative, project management and specialized assignments. The Coordinator will be expected to facilitate the progression of projects, multi-task and assist the Brand Associate and Brand Manager on various tasks, as required.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Maintain brand calendars, line lists, order forms, product training material each season
- Prepare submissions for new item creation, and prepare content submission for Ecomm (copy & assets)
- Maintain and update asset library (Portfolio) each season to ensure relevant, up-to-date content
- Prepare social media asset packages for new launches and hero SKUs, to be provided to retail partners
- Gather assets for regulatory assessment of new items - artwork, MSDS, ingredient lists, and work with the Brand Associate to submit for regulatory consulting. Follow-up with brand on feedback to ensure packaging and ingredients are compliant in Canadian market. Cosmetic Notification submission execution may be required.
- Facilitate marketing, field and merchandising materials by coordinating requirements with multiple departments; inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt etc.,
- Execute creative briefings for various creative needs (retailer flyers, print advertising, online/e-commerce initiatives, merchandising requirements etc.)
- Assist with Canadian ready marketing layouts (copy development & proofing)
- Competitive shop - document new brands, new products, unique displays/packaging
- Research competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, pricing, positioning, placement and promotion
- Monitor and report brand’s marketing activities relevant to Canadian Market
- Maintain Showroom, Sample Room and Work Room
- Complete sample requisition for various requirements (PR, Meetings, advertising etc.)
- May be required to update and manage social holiday calendars to assist in marketing focuses
- Assist with inventory management; S/A changes, preparing clearance lists, etc.
- Perform day to day duties as required (Photocopying, Packing, Shipping, Gift wrapping, etc.)
**Requirements**:
- University degree or college diploma in Business Administration / Marketing
- Intermediate skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel including formulations such as VLOOKUP, ROUNDUP, PIVOT TABLES etc.
- Ability to prioritize, plan and manage multiple projects
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willing to work overtime if required
- Access to vehicle is an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
