**Job Description: Shipping Administrator**

As a Shipping Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate shipment of products from the organization to customers and warehousing facilities. Your primary focus will be on coordinating shipping activities, maintaining shipping records, and ensuring that orders are processed and delivered on time. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the smooth operation of the shipping department.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Order Processing: Receive and review customer orders, verifying accuracy and completeness of information such as shipping addresses, product codes, quantities, and special instructions.
- Shipping Coordination: Collaborate with the warehouse team to prioritize order fulfillment and schedule shipments. Prepare shipping documents, including packing lists, bills of lading, and shipping labels. Determine appropriate packaging methods and materials to ensure the safe transport of products.
- Shipment Tracking: Utilize shipping software or systems to generate shipping labels and track packages in transit. Communicate tracking information to customers or internal stakeholders as required. Investigate and resolve any shipping delays or issues that may arise.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies. Complete necessary documentation accurately, such as customs forms and export declarations.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries related to shipment status, tracking information, and delivery timelines. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly resolving any shipping-related concerns or complaints.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline shipping processes and enhance operational efficiency. Propose and implement improvements to optimize workflow and reduce errors or delays.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a shipping clerk or in a similar shipping and logistics role.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with shipping software and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with shipping regulations, customs documentation, and international shipping practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move packages.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-15 months

**Salary**: From $24.00 per hour
