The Vice President, Digital, Information Services and Chief Information Officer plays a key role in PRHC’s management, sharing accountability for strategic and operational plans as part of the Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the President and CEO, they will provide leadership and strategic direction to various functional areas. Serving as a key resource to the organization, they are responsible for creating a high-performance team that supports sound information management practices and services, overseeing operations and financial stewardship, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies, legislation, and risk management frameworks.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute a vibrant DIS strategy as a strategic enabler for hospital objectives, drive technological innovation for improving patient experience and outcomes, and lead the review and reorganization of DIS processes and resources.
- Provide enterprise data analytics and decision-making support, facilitate user-friendly data presentation, enable access to various data types, and oversee privacy and data integrity risk management.
- Oversee the growth of the hospital’s clinical informatics team as it develops into a key organizational support
- Transform healthcare delivery through information and communication systems to improve patient care and enhance health outcomes by developing and improving data management processes.
- Direct hospital-wide technology policies, oversee information services initiatives and operations, ensure employee training for software skills, and manage risk and efficiency in IT systems.
- Direct hospital-wide cybersecurity policies, oversee consultancy and advisory practices, develop tools for risk management and vulnerability assessments, and ensure disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Foster a creative and productive environment; lead, coach, and set goals for the team; support DIS functional teams in adapting to change and learning; and promote continuous personal development.

**What You Bring**
- 10+ years of relevant, progressive work experience with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Previous experience and knowledge of all or most of the functional elements of the role.
- A demonstrated commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Familiarity with the healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change within a complex organization.
- Experience in strategic visioning, planning and implementing Information Technology Services initiatives, service management based on ITIL framework and procurement, systems and operations in support of strategic and operational goals.
- Development and management of large, complex resource allocations/budgets, including monitoring and control techniques, in a funding-challenged, service-oriented public institution.
- Planning, organization and management of cybersecurity risk management plans and processes.
- Knowledge of policy development, records management principles and practices, including records preservation and retention.
- Post-secondary education or a combination of education and lived experience.
