We require the talent of a
**Planner/Scheduler **to join our team. This position will be responsible for balancing customer priorities with product and trailer availability as well as labour resources, ensure maximum customer service levels within constraints.

**POSITION REQUIREMENTS**:
Full time permanent. In Office position, Monday to Friday, Day Shift

**How you will make contributions that matter***:
**Shipment Planning and Execution**
- Effectively plan and execute multi-site customer shipments
- Assess and prioritize customer shipments based on available resources
- Effectively execute staging and shipment sequencing in an automatic warehousing system
- Effectively communicate problems with internal and external stakeholders that may impact customer satisfaction or on time shipments

**Production Planning & Scheduling**
- Assess production capacity vs demands to produce a schedule that encompasses customers’ needs and supports plant efficiencies
- Develop production schedule(s) at line level in sequence to support shipment objectives based on demonstrated output
- Monitor production progress vs. expectations; adjust and communicate as may be required with affected parties when there are variances to plan.

**You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications**:

- Post secondary education in Supply Chain or Logistics management, and or
- APICS CPIM, CLTD or similar Certification preferred
- Previous supply chain, logistics, or related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and comprehension
- Effective problem solving and decision-making skills with strong organizational ability

Exceptional quantitative analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel
