Qc Technician

Greetings from Toronto Fresh Food Located in Scarborough, we are a regular Asian food factory through HACCP certification for busy professionals while also putting an emphasis on health and nutrition. We diligently serve market store and warehouse store chains with our cold-chain DSD services. Due to business development needs, we are looking for a QC.

**Job description**
- Responsible for standards of food safety, cleanliness, productivity, uniforms, grooming, organization, food quality and consistency
- Work in a safe manner and ensure that all production employees comply with safety standards, policies and procedures, which are implemented through consultation, guidance and corrective actions
- Maintain food safety plans and other related documents
- Regular inspection of plant and production equipment to ensure that all production processes are in full compliance with food safety policies and regulations
- Participate in customer complaint investigation and implement corrective action
- Other duties as required

**Job Qualification**
- Bachelor degree or above in food science or related field.
- at least 1 year experience in food processing industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills, requiring fluent oral and written communication skills in both Chinese and English. Speaking Chinese is a must
- Extensive experience in project-based production environments with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
- Must be able to work in small groups with mínimal supervision
- Must be able to follow SOP, HACCP, company quality management requirements and schedules
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Computer knowledge and understanding of MS Office programs - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Familiar with mobile technology, including tablet /iPad
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Comply with management decisions
- The exact salary would be decided after internal discussion_
- Full-time, non-office work_
