Halco Portables is growing We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to join our team as a site supervisor of our new Brantford location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide leadership and direction to the team and foster a continuous improvement philosophy.
- Responsible for yearly performance reviews and 90 day probationary reviews with all new hires.
- Schedule work to be done on cleaning and maintenance of plastic and self-contained units, including winterizing units and repairs of plastic units.
- Manage the inspection of all units, making sure hoses are inspected for leaks, and they are cleaned and prepped correctly.
- Schedule weekly pickup of garbage around the building, and washroom and locker room cleaning.
- Responsible for seasonal snow removal at entrances and making brine. Make sure all equipment is available and working, fill out a work order for repairs if needed.
- Fill out work orders and schedule work to be done on self-contained units in need of repair if required.
- Manage the restocking of supplies of Pumper Driver vehicles and organize their parking in the yard and inside the shop.
- Maintain supply inventory of all supplies needed for cleaning and maintaining plastic and self-contained units.
- Manage inventory in the yard, organize positioning and storage of units so that they are easily accessible and identifiable.
- Provide input on process controls and improvements, as well as work with all Management and the Health and Safety Team to communicate ongoing work needed and resolve any and all maintenance related activities in a timely manner.
- Work with the delivery team and the manufacturing team to create a seamless transition from cleaning to delivery and repair of all units.
- Be proactive in equipment and inventory needs not reactive.
- Responsible for any jobs that may come up pertaining to the yard.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid G class driver's license with a clean driving record (must be provided)
- 10 years experience driving with a G class License
- Previous experience in commercial driving is preferred but not required
- Ability to operate a forklift with a valid license
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Physically fit with the ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks
- Knowledge and understanding of proper tie down methods, how to use ratchet straps, etc.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial
