**Inventor STEM School is an after school center, which offers innovative enrichment programs in science, engineering, robotics, architecture, and coding for children from 3-16 years old. **During the school year we also organize various activities for children, such as LEGO Birthdays, Halloween Party and Summer/Winter/Spring Break Camps

Currently we’re looking for an enthusiastic **Teacher's assistant in our Junior classroom **(you will be working with children 5-7 years old) for our upcoming **Winter Camp. **There is a possibility to continue working in our team on the weekends during the school year, or at our special events or for the future camps

Winter Camp will run for 2 weeks.
**Week 1: Tuesday, December 26th - Friday, December 29th, 2023**
**Week 2: Tuesday, January 2nd - Friday, January 5th, 2024**

For this position we will be hiring fulltime (8.00am - 4.00pm) teacher's assistant.

**Responsibilities**
- Help to prepare, organize and supervise various science and STEM activities for the campers;
- Help teacher in the classroom during the Winter Break (preparing LEGO pieces, help kids with their LEGO builds, organizing small break games, etc)
- Along with the teacher supervise campers both during indoor and outdoor activities;
- Create a fun and engaging atmosphere for our students;
- Assure the security, hygiene and well-being of the campers
- **Parents/Enrollment**:_Maintain positive, effective communication with parents
- Handle inquiries from parents regarding our programs
- Encourage students and parents to enroll students in future programs
- Be able to respond to parent questions about their child’s progress everyday

May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Knowledge/Experience/Education**
- Must currently live in Montreal
- Bilingual - English and French
- Passion for specific STEM topics (preferred)
- A relevant Cegep or University degree (preferred)
- First aid training is an asset
- Previous experience working in camp/as a tutor is preferred

**Salary**: $15.25-$16.00 per hour
