**Professional Excavators & Construction Inc.** currently has an immediate opening for an experienced **Grader Operator**.
**Requirements**:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Finish Grader Operator
- Ability to operate a grader in a safe manner
- Ability to work safely and stay alert to surroundings at all times
- Able to finish gravel and other surfaces within sub-centimeter tolerances in preparation for asphalt and concrete paving
- Experience with GPS machine control and survey equipment considered an asset
- Experience with other construction equipment considered an asset
- Able to cut grade against concrete, grade stakes, asphalt and other jobsite structures
- Familiar with working in close proximity to ground personnel
- Ability to communicate with grade checker and act upon information received
- Demonstrate an understanding of grades and interpret plans and drawings
- Help set manholes and valves to finished grade
- Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
- Perform routine cleaning to ensure smooth operation on assigned equipment
- Advise foremen and the shop of any issues or repairs required on assigned equipment
- Assist crew with all other site activities as required
- Physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete assigned duties
- Ability to withstand working outside, on uneven ground for long periods of time and in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills
- Pass mandatory Drug, Alcohol and Fitness Testing.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class 5) and reliable transportation
