Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the **Parts Supervisor **will manage the day-to-day operations and staff of the Parts Department. Some of the job duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Provide pro-active leadership and management of all staff resources within Parts Department to maintain a functional department in line with overall department forecasts and company policies.
- Understands and adheres to Company standards, policies, procedures, and practices.
- Maintain operational requirements including marketing and profitability of the department
- Maintains effective working relationships and communications with other company departments and personnel.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining service levels as accustomed to
- Accomplishing and maintaining objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, and staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying and advertising.
- Foster and Mentor the team environment and create a “group culture'.
- Drive and maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity.
- Actively seek and keep abreast of all relevant industry/ occupational knowledge, changes and potential opportunities thru the pursuit and participation of training, industry specific literature, industry, trade or professional specific associations and education.
- Work with** **Calmont Equipment - Bobcat's Service and Sales departments to oversee all sales programs and activities to achieve the volume of sales projected in the annual forecast
JOB REQUIREMENTS
**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in parts heavy equipment industry.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience in related industry environment.
- Parts Journeyman Certification considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills in order to work with wide number of people, including peers, subordinates, and other company departments and staff.
- Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong customer service attitude and leadership to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Effective and pro-active management of staff resources to facilitate employee retention, productivity, and job satisfaction is key to achieving operational success.
