Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the **Parts Supervisor **will manage the day-to-day operations and staff of the Parts Department. Some of the job duties will include, but are not limited to:
Provide pro-active leadership and management of all staff resources within Parts Department to maintain a functional department in line with overall department forecasts and company policies.
Understands and adheres to Company standards, policies, procedures, and practices.
Maintain operational requirements including marketing and profitability of the department
Maintains effective working relationships and communications with other company departments and personnel.
Ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining service levels as accustomed to
Accomplishing and maintaining objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, and staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying and advertising.
Foster and Mentor the team environment and create a “group culture".
Drive and maintain a high level of efficiency and productivity.
Actively seek and keep abreast of all relevant industry/ occupational knowledge, changes and potential opportunities thru the pursuit and participation of training, industry specific literature, industry, trade or professional specific associations and education.
Work withCalmont Equipment - Bobcat's Service and Sales departments to oversee all sales programs and activities to achieve the volume of sales projected in the annual forecast
**DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in parts heavy equipment industry.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory/management experience in related industry environment.
- Parts Journeyman Certification considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills in order to work with wide number of people, including peers, subordinates, and other company departments and staff.
- Excellent attention to detail with a sense of urgency to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong customer service attitude and leadership to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
- Effective and pro-active management of staff resources to facilitate employee retention, productivity, and job satisfaction is key to achieving operational success.
