Our Intern program is uniquely hands-on, allowing you to work alongside our leaders on exciting new projects and strategies. In addition to day-to-day learning, you will have access to a series of learning and networking events, mentorship sessions from our leaders, an end of term Capstone Project, and much more. Our goal is to leave all our program graduates with a full, 360 understanding of our business.

**THE ROLE**:
As an Operations & Marketing Intern, you will be joining and assisting our entrepreneurial team in managing our Yorkville Assets, one of FCR's highest-profile portfolios in one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in the country. You will support our team in preparing marketing materials, and get involved with the rollout of our digital assets and brand strategy, as well as on-site events and pop-up initiatives. You will also gain a strong understanding of our industry through exposure to many facets of property management and operations in first-class urban mixed-use properties. As an added bonus, you will get to be part of Toronto’s ultimate shopping destination in Yorkville where retail experiences are infused with art, sought-after events and cultural collaborations.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Assist in coordinating various marketing initiatives including, advertising campaign, social media, digital content creation, the planning and execution of special events, activations, and pop ups.
- Assist property management with budgets, inventory, and day to day operational tasks.
- Assist with ongoing projects within the team, including internal communications, development projects, administration.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives and take on other duties.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:

- Creative thinker with a passion/interest in fashion, retail management, and commercial real estate.
- You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary program, preferably in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Marketing, Finance or Business,
- Strong proficiency with social media platforms; knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and digital marketing tools is a strong asset.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across all levels within and outside First Capital.
- You have outstanding organizational capabilities with the ability to prioritize.
- You are a self-starter with willingness to learn dynamic environment.
- Strong computer skills including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
