We are looking for a Production Control (18-month Contract) for our facility in Peterborough, Ontario.

**Responsibilities**:
**Coordinate All Shipping / Receiving Activities, including**:

- Coordinate directly with our shipping carriers for regular product deliveries, trailer maintenance, etc.
- Delivery to customer sites according to scheduled commitments.
- Tubing deliveries - Arnprior to Peterborough.
- Uranium deliveries between Toronto and Peterborough.
- Deliveries of product components from suppliers according to predetermined delivery schedules.
- Waste Shipments (Zirconium, Uranium, Hazardous Waste, etc.).
- Complete shipping documentation to satisfy regulations (e.g. Export Control, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, etc.).

**Parts/Tooling Supply coordination**:

- Monitor, report, optimize in-house inventory of consumable parts/tooling.
- Initiate Order Requisitions for restocking.
- Coordinate order logistics, with machining vendors (drawings, specifications, raw material, etc.).

**Support various Production Inventory processes, including**:

- Weekly inventory count of critical components, materials.
- Responding to deviations from supplier schedules and/or emergent needs.
- Full annual Uranium inventory and audit, to satisfy CNSC and IAEA requirements.
- Continuous monitoring, auditing and reporting on uranium inventory and shipments between facilities.

**Fuel Manufacturing Support**:

- Maintaining training documentation.
- Oversee and manage Contract Cleaners.
- Oversee the Repair and Clean NF03 job code and will be responsible for scheduling and maintenance connection from a process owner perspective.
- Coordination of waste shipments and clean Harbors.
- Scheduling pellet shipments and overseeing transport vendor.
- Process Owner for Shipping & Receiving.
- Scheduling Merit shipments and ensure adequate appendage inventory to maintain required production rates.
- Back-up internal security support to ensure we are meeting CNSC requirements.
- Support, organize, implement and assist in shop communication.
- Assist production with changeover schedules.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum two years’ administrative experience.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and maintain efficient organization.
- Ability to perform repetitive work without losing effectiveness.
- Ability to respond quickly to requests, take independent action and willingness to go above and beyond in order to expedite in a timely fashion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and meet demanding productivity goals.
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Customer service oriented - take action to meet customer needs and concerns and seek to understand customers.
- Have a valid class 'G' or ‘G2’ driver's license.
