We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Account Manager. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual with excellent sales and communication skills.

Based in Saskatoon and reporting to the Business Development Director, the Account Manager is highly motivated, strong technology understanding and has excellent communication, organizational and management skills. They enjoy working as part of a high performing team and can effectively work in a fast pace environment.

**Job Title**: Account Manager

**Location**: Canada/USA

**Term**: Full Time
- Implement business development sales activities for the organization.
- Drive new business opportunities playing a key role in generating revenue for the company.
- Responsible for the overall management and implementation of strategic planning with clients.
- Develop and implement client marketing plans, identify market opportunities and relationship activities.
- Demonstrate North Star Systems value, uncover client needs and lead initiatives with new and existing clients.
- Provide market intelligence and feedback regarding competitive offerings.
- Drive to increase revenue and profit enabling North Star Systems to scale up operations.
- Introduce North Star Systems solutions to new markets.
- Expand opportunities in all business sectors in collaboration with the Business Development Director.
- Work closely with all North Star Systems team members meeting the day to day needs of the business.
- Travel required.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience in sales and marketing
- Experience with MS Outlook, Excel and other Office tools (PowerPoint, Word)
- Degree in commerce, agriculture, or other relevant accreditation is an asset
- Experience in the following areas will be extremely helpful, but not required
- Agriculture
- IoT/m2m technologies
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
