**The Role**:
This role is for you if you're passionate about fostering a client-focused, solution-driven, and collaborative culture. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager, based in Vancouver, to join our global Development team. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will be part of a newly established team tasked with driving global business growth and development.

In this highly collaborative role, you will act as a key communicator, working both internally and externally to ensure client success and business expansion. With a strong customer service mindset, you will be responsible for developing market strategies, leading account managers, nurturing key client relationships, and ensuring we consistently deliver winning solutions to our global clients.

Business Development Strategy & Relationship Management
- Develop and continually improve the Business Development Strategy by conducting competitive analysis, leveraging client insights and collaborating with stakeholders and the Business Development Team.
- Develop and implement a Client Relationship Management Strategy, engaging the broader business and teams, establishing and nurturing strategic partnerships and managing client relationships across regions leading to new opportunities.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking activities to promote Mining Plus’s services.
- Maintain the client and lead database.

Development Team Collaboration
- Contribute to the development of new value-add services and business models.
- Support the Business Development Team in delivering strategic, tactical, and operational initiatives to achieve business targets.
- Assist the Proposal and Project teams in developing successful bids and proposals.

Global Collaboration and Mentoring
- Work closely with internal teams, including technical experts, project managers, and marketing, to ensure the successful delivery of client projects and proposals.
- Provide feedback, development opportunities, and mentoring on business development skills to team members and business unit leaders.

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- **Experience**: 10+ years' experience in business development with a strong understanding of the mining industry and technical mining services.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- **Technical Background**:A technical engineering background is highly regarded but not required.
- **Client-Centric**:Proven track record in developing and maintaining long-term client relationships, with an emphasis on client advocacy and balancing client-business needs. Proven track record of driving business growth, achieving targets, and exceeding client expectations.
