**THE OPPORTUNITY**
As a member of the Professional Practice Team, you will work in collaboration with other team members, the organizational Leadership Team, Credentialed staff, inter-professional staff, and Regional Partners in supporting the strategic vision and direction of GBGH.
Engaging key stakeholders and end users, the Professional Practice Leader will support in the ongoing development, optimization and evaluation of clinical workflows and Electronic Health Record (EHR) content. The Professional Practice Leader will represent GBGH at regional partnership discussions and will ensure local stakeholders are engaged and aware of EHR updates.

Job Requirements:
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE**
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or allied health with a certificate of registration in good standing from a healthcare regulatory college or health care professional in good standing with their respective College; Masters Degree preferred
- A diverse clinical background
- A minimum five years’ experience in an acute care setting
- A minimum of three to five years’ clinical educator/teaching experience
- Experience and demonstrated clinical proficiency required
- Experience with clinical and educational program development, implementation, and evaluation
- Experience with continuous quality improvement principles
- Experience in change management methodologies
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical practice and clinical informatics
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, be self-directed and manage competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work with inter professional teams
- Demonstrated ability to assess needs, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs and outcome indicators
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrate Patient and staff safety principles and practices
- Fluency in both English and French an asset

Our dedicated team serves a diverse catchment area, including Midland, Penetanguishene, Township of Tiny, Township of Tay, Christian Island, Georgian Bay Township, and Springwater Township. With a population base of 55,000, surging to over 150,000 during the peak season, GBGH stands as a healthcare cornerstone for our vibrant community.

With an annual budget of approximately $80 million, a robust staff of 800 professionals, and a network of over 100 active professional staff alongside 70 regional affiliates and consulting physicians, GBGH is a vital healthcare hub. Our services span acute care, rehabilitation, complex continuing care, and Level 3 intensive care unit, with exciting plans on the horizon. We are in the early stages of expanding our capabilities, including a 2,500 sq ft expansion to our diagnostic imaging department to add MRI services for our community, a 50,000 sq ft expansion off our emergency department to offer 24 inpatient mental heal
