*Job Summary*

A Gym Maintenance Worker is responsible for ensuring that the fitness facility is clean, safe, and in good working order. Their duties typically include:

- **Equipment Maintenance**: Performing regular inspections and repairs on gym equipment, such as treadmills, weight machines, and free weights, to ensure they function correctly and safely.
- **Cleaning and Sanitation**: Keeping all areas of the gym clean, including floors, locker rooms, and workout areas. This involves sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- **Facility Upkeep**: Managing the general maintenance of the facility, which may include tasks like changing light bulbs, fixing plumbing issues, and handling minor repairs.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensuring that the gym complies with health and safety regulations, which includes checking that safety equipment is in place and functioning.
- **Inventory Management**: Keeping track of maintenance supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as needed, and managing inventory.
- **Customer Service**: Assisting gym members with any equipment issues or maintenance-related concerns they might have.
- **Record Keeping**: Documenting maintenance activities and repairs performed, and reporting any major issues to management.

This role requires a good understanding of gym equipment, basic repair skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a focus on cleanliness and safety.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.40-$24.00 per hour
